We would love to meet and play frequently! However we rely on parent volunteers to organize events. Would you like to play? It can be local to you or age appropriate for your kiddo. We will help you advertise to other families on FB and the website, and may even have funds to help it be great!

WELCOME PROJECT

All new parents in Bucks County are eligible to receive a welcome basket. Any hospital, friend, or family can refer, or you can refer yourself! A member of our BCDSIG family will deliver a basket of gifts and information for the family at their preferred location. They can also offer connections and referrals in the Bucks area.

MEDICAL COMMUNITY

OUTREACH

We have a goal to distribute literature about Trisomy 21 and BCDSIG to any medical offices or community agencies who may benefit from sharing with their clients.

HELPING EACH OTHER

We are a family connected by an extra chromosome. If your family is struggling through an acute hospitalization of your loved one with DS, please reach out. As a community, perhaps we can create a meal train, send meal vouchers, or send support in some form.

Social Media

On our Facebook page, we post related local events and resources. Feel free to share what you find here as well! We also have a Facebook Group for families and self advocates. Attempts are made to keep this group private so families feel comfortable posting questions.
